Caroline Iantosca, RYT-200, teaches private and group yoga classes in Gatlinburg and Sevierville, Tennessee, and shares yoga worldwide through her YouTube Channel, Smoky Mountain Yoga. She is a graduate of the Asheville Yoga Center, where she is currently pursuing her Advanced Studies Certification.

I am passionate about helping people feel better in their bodies.

I believe yoga is for everyone, whether you can touch your toes or not! If you are looking to ease aches and pains, gain flexibility and strength, or simply lower your stress, yoga can help.

I began teaching yoga while working as a hiking guide in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park to help my clients recover from the impact of carrying heavy packs over long miles in the backcountry. As a long-distance runner and hiker myself, yoga has helped me prevent injury, increase my performance and feel my best in every sense. I’m motivated to share the replenishing benefits of yoga and the beauty of the mountains with as many people as possible, which is how Smoky Mountain Yoga was created.

Music and sound integration is an important part of my class experience. I have a background as a classically-trained cellist and hold a Bachelor of Music from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and a Master of Music from the Conservatory of Florence, Italy. The music I select for my classes is carefully curated to deepen the experience of the practice for my students and set a tone in the space. I offer a monthly live cello and yin yoga class as part of my regular schedule at Mountain Zen Yoga Studio.

You can also find me teaching at the Gatlinburg Community Center, online on YouTube, or work with me one-on-one by booking a private session.

Caroline’s Relax + Restore class is a complete reset and escape from our busy world. Guiding practitioners through poses, complimenting them with meditations and readings, she provides a loving journey guaranteed to leave you refreshed and renewed.  I highly recommend! Guys, yoga isn’t just for women. Try it!

The best hour of my week. I leave feeling calm, relaxed and rejuvenated!

I can do more than I ever thought possible again.
